New Year, New Beginnings! We've moved to WILLIAMSBURG!
Back in my early 20's (going to be 33 this March, crazy I know), I remember driving home with my dad and saying, "I'm going to be rich one day." my dad of course, chuckles and says "its possible but you know how hard you have to work to get there?"
At that time I wasn't sure what I was going to do to get to live this "rich" life that I dreamt of. I was working in the hospitality industry and busting my ass to be the best. Whether it was a cashier, a host, an event planner, catering manager or General Manager. All the titles I held over the 10 year run. Even though I worked hard, I knew it wasn't something I wanted to do forever. People always ask, "what made you want to start doing eyebrows?" My response is always, "I did not want to work for another man." Simple as that. It didn't take long for me to figure out eyebrows were my thing, I love them. I know the importance of them and how they can really change peoples lives.
So boom! I found something I love to do and I'm also helping people feel their best. Sounds like IM RICH to me! I'm 3 years in of being my own boss! Has it been a lot of work like my dad said it would be? ABSOLUTELY! But its been the most rewarding hard work ever! I'm seriously living the dream. Even when there are small nightmares.
I say all this to say, year 3, 2021, I'M COMING FOR YOU! We've recently acquired a 400sqft studio in the heart of Williamsburg! Yes, WILLIAMSBURG Brooklyn! My hometown! I'm so excited to convert this space into a BROW HAVEN! For years there hasn't been a place where people can call home for their eyebrows. Most common shops are the nail salons and threading salons but we all know those can be hit or miss. So, I'm determined to make this space a safe and trusting space for my clients.
I'll be working with Victoria Lee Interiors to design the space and when I tell you that its going to be so good, its going to be SO GOOD! I've been posting the steps we are taking on my instagram- are you following along? If not, all good. I'll be writing a separate blog post about that when its all done.

Shout out to my dad for always being the one to help and motivate me! We were able to put these floors down together in 3 days. The real MVP!
